To Vienna!
Mom just sent me email. Our flying tickets to Vienna have arrived! We've been planning our journey for quite some time, but finally everything's starting to come true. :)
We'll go to Vienna for four days within only three weeks. My godfather lives there with his wife and we'll stay with them. It's going to be soooo great! I have never been to Austria.
We'll have a lot time to spend together (it's been quite a long time since the last time) and also see beautiful, historical places. I heard that my godfather has booked us also opera tickets, I just don't know yet which one. Can't wait! :)
Update: I just heard that we're going to Vienna State Opera(!!!). We got tickets to Puccini's Tosca, nice. :)
Snow
Oh boy, it's snowing again... My parents were here on Saturday (granny had birthday last week and we had lunch with her) and saw our "new" apartment for the first time. Anyways, they had as cold in Turku as we in Espoo, but they didn't have any snow! Dad was quite envious, they couldn't do any skiing in Turku.
Weather forecast promised it would get much warmer today (actually it's already only -5). If snowing continues, we'll get a perfect winter weather! :)
Coldcoldcold!!!
It's sooooo cold. Past 2-3 days have been really cold in Finland. I live in Espoo, Southern Finland, and the temperature has gone as low as -20 degrees. You can imagine how cold it is in Lapland... News have told quite a lot about frost in Moscow (-40!!), I really don't envy people living there.
Funny how weather feels every year colder and colder. I was sure that this is the coldest year ever, but then they revealed in news papers that 1999 was even colder in Finland. And I really should remember that year, it wasn't that long time ago!
My first post
OK, so I've been thinking of starting my own Blog for quite some time. The only thing that has kept me from not starting a blog is that I haven't had a theme for my blog. I mean, why would people read exactly my blog? Well, I still don't have anything revolutionary. I just hope I'll figure out something as time goes by...
